Kelly the Kitchen Kop Recommends
In this age of food security problems being an ever growing problem, it's a good time to look at the recommendations of Kelly the Kitchen Kop.
She has a full list of sites and blogs she recommends but, because it's in a posting and not in a blog roll, it's hard to miss, which is a pity.
However, in particular she recommends:
Going against the grain

and
Musings of Home and Hearth
http://musingsofhomeandhearth.blogspot.com/
I'll be adding both these blogs under GENERAL RESOURCES as they are not farm blogs.

Kelly the Kitchen Kop (USA; 'Your health detective')
With all the news of contaminated dairy products in China at the moment, it seems a good time to profile a blog that was recently recommended to Farm Blogs from Around the World, Kelly the Kitchen Kop - Your Health Detective.
Kelly's isn't worried about providing a lot of what she calls "politically incorrect" health and nutrition information because she doesn't "believe everything "they" have told us is the way to good health. Why? Look around, it hasn't worked so far!"
Kelly's goal with her kitchen cop blog is to get us thinking about what we're putting into our bodies, the effects it will have, and to give us more of the knowledge we'll need to help us make good choices for us and our families.
"With the overload of information available to us today, here is one place to easily find what you need to know (or at least a very good start) on a wide range of health & nutrition topics, and you won't have to do all the time-consuming work of searching out the truth on each issue!"

Which in many ways is similar to the purpose of Farm Blogs from Around the World.
