Woodpightel Cottage Recommends
"Woodpightel Cottage - not quite a smallholding" in England is about their Ryeland sheep, hens and vegetable plot. It's called "not quite a smallholding" because they have less than two acres of grass for the sheep and hens and the veggie plot is a rented allotment about a hundred yards from their house.
"So we are doing smallholding things without actually having a smallholding, if that makes sense," writes Susi Wood of Woodpightel Cottage.
Well, if people are campaigning for the White House to have a kitchen garden, it makes perfect sense to me.
